New York, NY| The Skyline Conference released its weekly awards on Monday afternoon, and amongst the winners was senior Scott Reece of the men's lacrosse team, who earned the first Player of the Week selection in program history.
Scott Reece (Sr.) – Men's Lacrosse Player of the Week
In the men's lacrosse team's first-ever game—a 13-9 victory over Western Connecticut State on March 1—Reece went for eight goals on 13 shots and picked up an assist. With the teams tied at nine 1:16 into the fourth quarter, the Medford, NY native scored four-straight goals to lift the Golden Eagles to their first-ever victory. As of Monday afternoon, Reece led the Skyline Conference in goals-per-game (4.50).
